Location: Situated at the beginning of the Mani peninsular the unspoilt village of   Kato Doloi and is typical of the traditional villages of this part of Greece. At the same time it is only 20min drive from Kalamata where there is an airport with many European destinations and all the facilities of a modern coastal city. 20km south are the tourist villages of Stoupa and Ancient Kardimili. Access to the house is by a surfaced road, which terminates 5m short of the property.  Parking arrangements can be agreed with the present owner.

 

The House: The ground floor comprises of a double bedroom with fitted, craftsman-built wooden wardrobes and cupboards. A bathroom with bath and shower, fitted wooden cupboards and shelves, plumbing and all services for washing machine, marble tops, lighting and fused outlet for electric towel rail / heater.  And an entrance hall which is large enough to be used as an additional seating area or as a guest room with bed.

 

The first floor comprises of a dining / living room with open plan kitchen. It also has a traditional beamed ceiling and the original open fireplace. Both these rooms open onto a fully tiled and walled balcony, large enough to provide an “outside room” and eating area, useable throughout much of the year. From the balcony there are panoramic, stunning views across the Messinian Gulf

 

External features include the original stone stairs from upper to lower levels which is typical of Greek village architecture.

 

The Courtyard: The ground floor rooms open onto a covered shady courtyard area which is fully tiled.
